Knowing and Doing the Will of God Through the Bible

The Bible is a lamp to my feet and light to my path. Lamp to the feet is a short immediate opening you see. Walk in that spot of light God has shown. The light to my path is the log term way that you will eventually walk if you heed to the lamp. If you do not see the spot light on the immediate and take your step you will miss knowing and doing the will of God.

One step at time

Every servant of God called by Him walks this one step at a time that God shows. Each step you take in faith will ultimately take you in the path according his plan. Remember knowing and doing the will of God is only possible when you practice lamp to my feet and then it becomes light to your path.

Character of God

The word has powerful insights into the character of God. Only the character of God is able to stamp upon you when you walk this pilgrim way his image on you. That is what Christ ultimately wants fro each one of s, His image showing from our poor earthly frame.

Meditate

There is nothing apart from his word that can guide you into his fellowship and will. You will know beyond a shadow of doubt that God has spoke when you read the Bible and meditate on it. Meditate it more than just read or study or prepare for sermons and bible studies. When you meditate you let the Holy Spirit teach you the hidden things of the word. Many truths in the bible are not apparent in the first reading, you need to send time meditating and God will reveal the meaning and purpose behind every detail and verse in the bible.

Obey

After you read and meditate you should obey. If you do not do the things god has revealed and give excuses then you are far away from Knowing and doing the will of God.

The immediate light (lamp to my feet) is the proof that God is showing you what step to take now. The next step will come in time when you are ready. Keep reading and meditating the bible everyday and every free time you get more than any other book or past time. The more you get to know the bible the more you learn what is Knowing and doing the will of God.
