Check Out What Can Be Checked in the Bible and You Will Discover No Irregularity Or Discrepancy

Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is a significant insignificant city.

The name means, the 'house of bread', and that is where Jesus Christ, Who claimed to be the bread of life, was born. Having visited Bethlehem on various occasions, I have checked out what can be checked and there are no irregularities or discrepancies, and having personally studied the Bible for over fifty years I have never yet had anyone come up to me and point out a passage and say "That is just wrong".

Give yourself to serious study of the Bible. The rewards are certainly worth all the time and energy and effort.

Those who have fed upon Him over the years have certainly found peace and satisfaction, and so much more.

The prophets, who were raised up by God, saw this day coming, and Micah predicted that Bethlehem in Judea had been designated for the birth of the One Who would save and rescue men from their sins.

Now, you must admit that is very difficult to arrange your place of birth!

Bethlehem was a small place as far as the world might judge, but massive in the plans and purposes of God. This is where one of Israel's greatest kings, David, spent his early years, writing many of the Psalms which continue to be sung with meaning today.

Samuel, a powerful prophet of the living God, was led to Bethlehem to anoint a young shepherd boy, the youngest of eight sons, to become the second king of Israel, but the greatest of all kings was to be birthed in Bethlehem, a thousand years later.

Bethlehem lies only six miles south of Jerusalem, and at that time in the surrounding fields, special sheep were bred for sacrificial slaughter in The Temple in Jerusalem.

Thirty three years later, the Lamb of God, Who was also the Good Shepherd, was to be slain in Jerusalem, shedding His blood to wash away men's sin. This is what has to be dealt with; that sin which lurks in a man's heart.

God's Word is accurate in every aspect, and its truth can surprise us on occasions. Do not allow disbelief and doubts to trouble you.

For most biblical questions, which might arise, there are totally satisfactory explanations and answers.
